4025 attempts at a straight line

In spring 2017 I did 107 drawings on the rocks at the sea side in Collioure, France. For each drawing I placed a piece of paper on the rock and tried to make a series of straight lines. The pencil pressed into the rock, creating a nervous line, disrupted by the rock surface, it ripped the paper at times. These drawings happened in a meeting point, a point of pressure, a dialogic event between the rock and my hand.
